Det mest solgte tarotsæt i dag er Aleister Crowley's Thoth kort. Men hvad ved vi egentlig om den magiske filosofi, som han stod for - manden, der skabte verdens mest sensationelle tarot-mesterværk?
Aftenens foredrag kaster lys på de mange sider af Crowleys fascinerende liv og virke, på facts såvel som myter: Hvem var han, denne utrolige skikkelse som ville udforske alle aspekter af den menneskelige bevidsthed, gennem meditation, sex, stoffer, magi og okkultisme?
Født i det viktorianske England mod slutningen af det 19.århundrede, død i 1947, var Crowley budbringer og pioner for perspektivet om New Age/ Old Age / Evigheden. Han har inspireret generationer af søgere til at udforske livets mysterier og var ansvarlig for magiens genkomst i det 20.århundrede, idet han hævdede, at Horus' Ny Tidsalder - den egyptiske, høgehovede Solgud, begyndte i 1904. Born into Victorian England at the end of the 19th. century, dying in 1947, Crowley was a Messenger and pioneer of New Age/Old Age/The Eternal world view. Almost single-handedly he has inspired generations of seekers to explore the mysteries of life, and was responsible for the magical revival of the 20th. Century, claiming that the New Aeon of Horus, the Egyptian Hawk-headed Sun-god, had begun in 1904. He anchored his mystical and creative vision into his deck of 78 tarot cards.
